Jonathan Slick
Founder & OwnerAlso known as ‘The Duke’, at least by himself, Jon has been into motors since he started driving tractors at the age of 13. They say he was born with a wrench in his hand and has wheels instead of feet. Jon is the driving force behind Slick’s Autobody which he founded in 1988 on his 25th birthday. He pounds the asphalt with his 970 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside 4x4 which he also uses to ferry his jet ski around the country when we force this workaholic to take a holiday
Raven Slick
AutoBody detailerJon’s eldest daughter, Raven was certainly born with the grease monkey gene. Her father raised her right and she’s now an exceptional addition to the autobody team. Raven lights up the road with her 2003 Ford Mustang GT when she’s not competing in state triathlons.
Peter Quinn
AutoBody detailerPete is the unofficial third brother of Jon and Rusty and has worked at Slick’s since 2007. What Peter doesn’t know about cars and motorcyles isn’t worth knowing. Pete shoots the streets in his cherry red 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible which he won after Jon bet him he couldn’t climb under a car from one end to the other without touching the floor. This is now Pete’s party piece.
Rosa Grillo
AutoBody detailer‘The Bulldozer’ Rosa is our truck specialist. Literally born in a truck on the freeway she hasn’t spent much time away from them since. Her 1988 GMC C700 Dually gets her safely across town where she teaches judo at the Mount Juliet Youth Center.
Rusty Slick
MechanicJon’s brother, Rusty is our chief mechanic and has been turning wrenches for over 15 years. You name it, he’s fixed it. ‘The Rust Bucket’ likes taking his kids to school in his not-so-rusty 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop, with some good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll playing. Music and motors are the lessons he likes to school them in.
Chris George
Admin & SalesChris joined Slick’s in 2009 and helped us expand into our second shop. He takes care of all the nuts and bolts that don’t involve motors. When Chris isn’t zipping around town in his 2008 Mazda M5 Sport Wagon, he likes to kick back and immerse himself in World of Warcraft.
