Wallah! WordPress, in a subfolder, on my server. And for my first post… Inside Abbey Road presented by Google. I’ve never actually been inside Abbey Road Studios but now it’s possible from the comfort of my uncomfortable office chair. The entire site is interactive and engaging, the primary themes of our Summer course. I thought I’d search these keywords as an introductory post. It’s taken some trial and error to figure the best way to tour around the information on this site. I usually get a bit lost when I get to navigate 3 dimensionally on a screen. This wouldn’t be so enjoyable if I needed to find information quickly, but fortunately that’s not the intention of the site. The map on the bottom left and the pull-out menu are essential to finding ground again. You can try your own hand at mixing with this interactive game to match the mixes of Abbey Road engineers. So far this is a highlight of the tour. I appreciate those share buttons to pass the game on easily.
