I am currently enrolled in a Masters course to gain and improve skills for current and future print and web work. Most of these pieces are exercises for possible real world scenarios. All images used in composites are purely for educational purposes and have not been used for commercial purposes.

Valentines poster for Pret A Manger, a company known for their creative messages using food as imagery surrounded by refreshing white space and a healthy dose of wit. They use simple signage and interior design to reflect its principle of simplicity. My poster was constructed to follow these branding guidelines. The brief was a Valentine's Theme. My challenge was to keep it simple and not too in-your-face Valentines to follow the PRET trends. It is a bouquet made of fresh lettuce, parsley, mint and raspberries in a butternut squash vase wrapped in a heart ribbon. The way to the heart is so often by way of the stomach!
